This will be my 5th exploration of archetypes from the Tarot’s Major Arcana. I’ve maintained some of the original key elements of each card so that they stay true to their origins which date back to Medieval European times.

In this series, you will also find new elements that speak to a contemporary viewer. Things like a business suit and a disassembled watch, along with some less obvious items like a Roman bus schedule and an art stamp among other things.

The Fool or The Lunatic is the only unnumbered card in The Tarot’s Major Arcana and is still figured in today’s regular playing decks as The Joker. Although it can go either at the beginning or the end of the series, it is typically placed before all the other cards.

The Fool is each and every one of us. He represents a human archetype of our spiritual evolution regardless of where or when we live or may have lived.
