After jumping off that psychological cliff, “The Fool” continues his
journey uninjured but with no way of turning back. While feeling almost certain he has made the right move, doubts begin to fill his mind. Am I good enough? Will I have enough time, knowledge, and materials to complete my task? Do I have everything I need right now? What will people say? Who am I to take on this task? Wouldn’t my time be better used somewhere else? And the list goes on playing like a loop in his mind wanting to sabotage his mission.
Here we encounter “The Magician” reminding us that everything we need is at our disposal and, more importantly, that we are not alone. She is our mentor; our connection with the Divine as indicated with the lemniscate (it looks like a sideways "8") which also represents the eternity of our soul.
